Even with the best intentions in the world, sometimes things go wrong… and sometimes they go horribly wrong.
If you have been blindsided by an incident, accident or a worse-than-expected inspection report, then I can help you develop your action and improvement plan and talk you through your options to rebuild your house, but this time on rock.
If you think your situation requires more than the basic family membership, then let’s set up that free consultation call to see how I can help.
In the Japanese art of kintsugi 金継ぎ, precious metals are used to repair broken pottery, resulting in an item more valuable and stronger than before. We will apply this art to your service, identifying you and your team’s strengths and skills and using them to bring the pieces together. That’s why these memberships are named after precious metals.
You may not need to be precious (unless that’s your name!) – I’ll read over your report or any other useful information and advise if I think I can help within the usual family membership or a one-off service.
All packages include general benefits of joining the family, which are:
- Free access to the app
- Monthly Teams/Zoom call and newsletter
- Telephone and email advice
- PIR review and feedback on tenders
- “Member of the Z Cares Family” certificate and website widget
- Full entry in the Directory
- “Refer a Friend” for a 10% commission on mock inspections
- Private forum and online/in-person meetups
- Z Cares one-off/annual services half price-ish!
As well as the above, all precious metal deals include:
- Action and improvement planning
- Support communicating with regulators and commissioners
- Full support with drafting/writing your PIR and commissioner returns during the improvement phase
- I will do everything practicable to support you during inspection if it happens during your contract
- Final report with ongoing action and improvement plan
- In addition, you’ll get my time according to your package – see below.
Contracts will have a fixed period of at least three months. If you think you will need to pay in installments, then the plans are included for your information.
The prices below assume a single location/site and that only I am required – if the service is very large, remote, multi-location or for whatever other reason I need to bring an assistant or assemble a team, a bespoke quote will be made.
Silver
Silver family members also get:
- Up to two initial days on site, including a service review/audit as needed and talking to staff (and clients if appropriate)
- One further day per following calendar month of my time in person or a day and a half remotely
If it makes more sense for your situation and your contract is long enough, we can plan the monthly time as less frequent larger blocks of up to three days in person.
Contract length | Price | Installments |
Three months | £2,999 | £1999 initial payment then £500 for next two months |
Six months | £5,999 | £3999 initial payment then £400 for next five months |
One year | £10,999 | £6999 initial payment then £400 for next ten months |
Gold
The gold package adds on:
- Up to three planned initial days on site, including a service review/audit as needed and talking to staff (and clients if appropriate)
- Two further days per following calendar month of my time in person or three remotely
The regular time can also be a block of four days in person every other month if your contract is six months or longer.
Contract length | Price | Installments |
Three months | £5,999 | £3999 initial payment then £1000 for next two months |
Six months | £10,999 | £5999 initial payment then £1000 for next five months |
One year | £20,999 | £10,999 initial payment then £1000 for next ten months |
Time on site and remote time
If your systems are online, many tasks such as remote auditing and progress checks can be completed from the comfort of my own home. I can also usually review and update policies and procedures, write reports, develop processes and write new documents. Some tasks are best done at home anyway, such as making quality assurance phone calls to clients and their representatives.
What is done on site?
It’s always easier to be on-site in terms of getting quick answers to questions and making quick changes, even when doing a review of electronic records. So if we’re doing an emergency audit or a task that otherwise needs to be completed quickly and in detail, I’ll always need to be there. Obviously, if your service is paper-based, I’ll need to be onsite to carry out all audits and reviews.
I can also support you by providing staff training and mentorship both generally and in key areas such as dementia care, end of life care, medicines competency, care planning and risk assessment.
If you’re a solo provider or have a very small senior team, I can work flexibly to support as most useful during the improvements.
Support during inspection
I genuinely mean “everything practicable” – I’ll do everything I can to be there with you in person. At the very least I’ll be on the other end of the phone for you.
Platinum? Palladium? Adamantium??
If you think you need more support than offered at silver or gold, we will draw up a bespoke package. Please get in touch.
